Extended Stored Procedure AND Remoting

Successfully created an extended stored procedure (xp_r) andbegan experimenting with it. Using pragma directives andcompiler options, I have successfully evolved xp_r to use a DLLwith mixed managed and unmanaged C++ code. Now I am getting anaccess violation trying to get xp_r's DLL to invoke code withina separate class library (an entirely managed DLL written inC#). Initially I thought this was because the external code wasusing remoting and I had a security issue. Now I am not so sure.

Has anyone else used .Net remoting (as a client) from with anextended stored procedure?

Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Thanks.
