Developing for Smartphone 2002

I own VS.NET and am wondering what else I need to develop for the Smartphone
2002 platform?
What languages can I develop for the Smartphone 2002 in and does it support
..NET?

Thanks in advance,
Andrew Banks

I can't see anything here relevant to Smartphone 2002 specifcally

I know I can develop for Pocket PC in VS.NET and test through an emulator
that came with VS.NET - Can I do the same for the Smartphone 2002?

You would need eVC++ (embedded VC) and you'll have to develop in plain old
C. You can download the Smartphone SDK from microsoft website. Check out
the following link (cut & paste if broken)

I have an MPx200 (since yesterday), but I haven't tried to run anything on
it yet. Try the microsoft.public.smartphone.developer newsgroup, but my
understanding is that you can use EVC++ to write applications. The place
I've started looking is at:
