Is it possible to remote debug win64 app with VC++ IDE

P: n/a

I am using vc++ .net 2003 ide with Feb 2003 platform sdk to build
64bit application.

I want to use vc++ to debug the app on 64bit machine. As we do not
have 64bit VC++, I would like to know how to configure VC++ IDE to do
remote debugging.

I can install 64bit windbg and do debugging on the local machin, as
well as connect to it from a 32bit windbg and debug. But i would like
to do it thru VC++ IDE.

On 32bit machine, i can use msvcmon.exe and do remote debug thru VC++.
When i use the same msvcmon on ia64 itanium machine i get a prompt
"This is the win32 version of the Remote Debug Monitor. This does not
allow debugging of win64 processes"
Is there any method by which i can use VC++ IDE to debug win64 app ?

What are the timelines for a 64bit version of VC++.

Thanx and Regards,
