Hi ds,

VB.NET is the language that mainly used to create Windows based applivcation
such as SDI/MDI or Windows Services etc...

The ASP.NET is the Web Base application (internet/intranet). ASP.NET means
Active Server Page which is includes the HTML and some scripting code.

When you use the ASP.NET you may have many option to choose VB.NET C# (C
Sharp) for your scripting that does the job between server to client (or
simply bettweeen DB to client).

When you program with ASP.NET to create a intranet and if you familar with
VB.NET all you have to do is to know some basic HTML coding. The VS.NET 2003
ASP.NET Development tools will give us much better understanding about
between the HTML code and the Scripting code and MAJOR advantages is to
seperate the HTML code from Scripting code.

Older version of the ASP.NET was ASP and it was very difficult to us to
design the single web page.

To learn more about ASP.NET please fell free to use the following link(s):
