Starting a .wav file x seconds into the playback

does anyone know if you can kick off a .wav file and
start some amount of time into the file. For example.
kick off example.wave and start 1 minute and 13 seconds
in the the audio playback?

thanks in advance.

As far as I know, the only way to do this, easily, is using MCI commands,
via interop.

I've created an MCI player which you can use for this purpose, as well as
open CD's by track, and other such audio things, I'd be happy to send you if
you like

email me if you're interested

Take a look at the WaveFile class
[http://www.mentalis.org/soft/class.qpx?id=14]. It has a Position property
that can be set.
