How to terminate an application ???

Dear all,

I have an application whcih is build a round different
assemblies.

Fisrt of all I have my MainApp which start and then
instantiate a FormObject class belonging to assemblie 1.

Then the FromObject class object in assemblie 1
instanciate other object in other class and other
assemblie.
So at the end I have a kind of cascading set of object.

Now in case a fatal error occurs in an object x, I must
close my all application as well as all open forms.

What is the right way for closing an object and cascading
until the parent application and close everything ?
thanks for your help
regards
