Hi,
I've written a few schemas for an XML-based application interface.
I'll be writing the backend of my side of the interface, but I'd like
to mock-up the other side of the interface.
One idea would be to use a tool that would read the XSD and create a
GUI data-entry tool. Basically, it would parse the XSD and put up a
bunch of named text fields or something. I would enter the data, save
it to a file, and then input this file into my application for testing.
Does anyone know of anything that does this? I found one tool: http://www.felixgolubov.com/XMLEditor/ It does what I ask, but there
are a few features missing. For one, I'd like to be able to have
multiple XML documents (each with a different XSD) open at once.
So, if anyone has any suggestions, I'd be grateful!

There are several commercial tools that you could look at:
1) Microsoft InfoPath - http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/FX010857921033.aspx
2) Adobe LiveCycle Designer - http://www.adobe.com/products/server...gner/main.html
It would be worth your time to test run these tools against what you
want to achieve. I am not too sure if both the above tools can create a
form based on several XSD's at one go.
Hope this helps.
Romin.

Romin,
Thanks for the reply. I looked into both products and immediately got
lost. Both are very full-featured, and probably a little feature-heavy
for what I'm looking for.
If anyone knows of any lighter-weight apps, please let me know.

I have a asp.net (framework 1.1) site interfacing against SQL 2000. It runs like a charm 99% of the time but once in a while I get the following "unspecified error". Sometimes it would resolve by itself (asp.net recycled?); it also can be solved by restarting IIS.
Any ideas what cause(s) this to happen?

Hi, All,
Is it possible to access a variable inside of a data binding, without the
variable being out of scope?
(Note: On the DataBinder line, I get an error message that says "Name 'i' is

I am having a problem reading a simple update to the database. Basically
I'm testing a small change to the pubs database -- changing the price of the
Busy Executive's Database Guide from 19.99 to 1997 and back. Unfortunately,
it seems does reflect the change on my web form. Perhaps it's caching the
data retrieved by the SQLDataAdapter? (All of my code is generated by
VS.NET '03.
FYI, it works fine when I test on my developer...

I'm new to C# and .net and I'm trying to create a form that will register users in a sql server database. I have the following code but when I run the code I get an error "

Hi!
The question of type checking/enforcing has bothered me for a while, and
since this newsgroup has a wealth of competence subscribed to it, I
figured this would be a great way of learning from the experts. I feel
there's a tradeoff between clear, easily readdable and extensible code
on one side, and safe code providing early errors and useful tracebacks
on the other. I want both! How do you guys do it? What's the pythonic
way? Are...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
