[XSLT:FO] Create templates from business forms

Hi all,

For one customer we need to transform some 100 business forms (registration
forms, etc.) into XSLT:FO templates - our application will produce PDF
documents. Up to now our intern has created those templates by hand using
the XslFast tool. For such a big number of business forms, however, this is
just too time consumeing.
Is there a way to automate this process? It would be great if I could just
scan the forms, have some OCR component parse it, and then transform the
result into a XSLT:FO template. Are there tools for such a procedure? OR
Could I just use the original business form as a background image and simply
place some textfields on the template?

Regards,
Marcel

hi, I have glossary-entries (<entry name="...">...</entry>) whose names include 8bit-characters and spaces and each entry must be reachable by (relative) html-links. I want to avoid having to specify both a name and an id for linking for each glossary term (if possible), so I'd like to generate links (urls) from the names with some kind of algorithm.

I will try to explain a little which is the functionality that we are looking for. We need a tool to create XSL templates able to transform plane text to XML. As source we have strings where fields are concatenated one after another. Fields are of different length. We need to map these fields into defined schemas. This task implies to split source data indicating position and length for each field.

Hi All, I have a question is it possible to use XSLT to get data from multiple HTML files and then present all contents in a single file? (without using javascript). Thank you for any help in advance.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
