SVG and XSLT Development Tool Beta Invitation

We are holding a beta program for Corel Smart Graphics Studio 2.0 - a
development platform for generating XSLT, XML, and SVG to create rich,
data-driven graphics bound to enterprise systems (such as Technical
Graphics, HMI/SCADA, GIS, Data Visualization).

We feel that this application is particularly well suited to this
newsgroup community and so are extending a general invitation to the
Beta program.

- For content specialists – you'll be impressed with the ability to
generate graphics applications at the component level from pieces
stored in a Repository

- For general application developers – you'll learn how to dynamically
assemble graphical applications using Smart Templates.

- For application designers – you'll learn how to create graphical
templates and libraries of dynamic objects that can be re-used in the
development process.

If you're interested in participating in the Beta Program, please
review the details and fill out our online application:
http://apps.corel.com/beta/CSGS.html

If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Product Manager,
Corel Smart Graphics Studio

* there are limited spaces in the beta program and we regret to advise
that only those who have been selected for participation can be
contacted.

Folks, I need some advice. I hpoe some of you can advise me. Our church's weekly bulletin has been published on paper for years. It is created in MS Word and sent to the publishing company. Now I need to publish the same information on our new web site. But I don't want to put an image of the paper bulletin on the web site. I want it to look natural there, as if it were produced with god web design principles.

Is there a way (tool, hack...) to create an XSL:FO from an XSLT + XML files? My motivation is that we want to use a tool to design reports, and from that "design" generate both HTML (via XSLT) and PDF (via XSL:FO). The only tool we have seen is Altova's StyleVision, which is very unfriendly (and uses a proprietary representation, SPS, from which it generates the various XSLs). We have considered instead using InfoPath, which is WYSIWYG,...

I've never had the need to work with XML, but I believe I now have an appropriate application. I have time-series data in objects organized as a tree that I want an ASP.NET program to write out to web pages formatted as a matrix. It is not a simple matrix, since the number of row heading cells can vary, but the data cells must be aligned by date (so the heading cells will not be uniformly sized). example of typical rows: 3 heading...

Does anyone know of any GUI tools for developing XSLT? Support for XSLT 2.0 would be nice. The only thing I know of XFactor, and I'm just wondering if there's anything else. TIA, Richard Rosenheim

Hi group, searching in the Internet I found two products for XML which incorporate a very robust debugger for XSL/XSLT, I would like you to see these products and then, give me your opinion about the development environment or recommend me some other that you know. Hi, I want to read records from a database and export it in an arbitrary format. My idea was to feed a class with a String array fetched from the database and let this class fire SAX events as processor input. The basic class hierarchy is:

First off, I am NOT a beginner. I have lots of experience developing professional web sites and am a professional software developer. Unfortunately I've been out of web site development for the past 2 years but would like to get back into it. What I need is some advice to get me up-to-date on what is the best (or one of the best) ways of developing web sites and web applications. The following are my requirements: * Static web pages...

It is common knowledge that XHTML is better HTML and you can serve XHTML content as HTML. However, the second statement is incorrect, for various reasons; it is enough to say that the HTML validator does not tolerate XML-style empty tags. It seems serving XHTML to the browser is of no advantage and can cause serious problems if the browser does not understand the difference. This raises the question of downgrading XHTML to HTML. I could...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
