I have been looking for information on creating a custom ActiveSync conduit
ot move data to/from a PPC device.
I have custom data manipulation requirements and think that building a
custom conduit would be the best way to handle it.
Has anyone done this before?
Any suggestions on where to find information?

How can I get the MS ActiveSync version on PC?

I would like to use ActiveSync to synchronize a WinCe running PC with an XP
running PC, in a C# program. But it seems it is quite unusual ; I found no
example for such a case on the Web.
Is it possible to make it? Did anybody ever do it? Is there something about
that on the Web?
thank you

Can anyone provide any pointers or code examples for Coding an app to use
ActiveSync to sync between SQL CE and SQL 2000 / MSDE
I want the app to use ActiveSync and to be a Windows form app on the PC and
with a widest target platform (ie. XP home, so no IIS), therefore using IIS
for Sync is not really an option (?)
Thanks

I usually use ActiveSync by launching by means of Process.start(string path)
and I would like to use another smarter way.
I do not know if there is an ActiveSync API available for this.
Thanks, Ramón

I've an application written using CF 1.1 that needs to call a WebService
running on some computer in the LAN. Generally this works fine.
But sometimes, when the device is connected through ActiveSync, it tries
to call the WebService on the computer running ActiveSync, even if the
url is set correctly to the server hosting the WebService.
Does anybody has an idea?
Thanks in advance

Hi Everyone,
I may be out of my depth here but I will ask anyway. Is it possible to
communicate with Activesync, so that for example, I have a series of
stored text files, and I want to push the data in these to maybe a Note
in woindows CE / Mobile, or maybe enter them as an email in pocket
outlook.
This needs to be able to be done without using other programs / OLE
automation on the host PC. The need is to be able to directly control...

I wish to go back to an older version of activesync - but the "getting
started" disc supplied with PDA believes the upgraded version is still
resident on my PC. I have removed both activesync and outlook; also have
used a registry mechanic tool to eliminate possible registry conflicts. Yet
still there are traces of activesync 4.2 apparently somewhere on the machine.
How do I remove them?

Hello I'm new to developing databases in Access and using Access2003. I have a dataset with a few many to many relationships that I have created linking tables for to make multiple 1:M relationships.
My problem is trying to figure out a set of forms and subforms for this data in which the users can enter new data in a straightforward way. In my dataset there are: Buildings, Contacts, addresses for buildings and contacts, and different types of...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
