which discussion group???

i have windows mail on a vista program

two problems:
1) have yet, after over an hour at the computer, figured out how to start
new thread regardless of signing in 79 times and following directions;

2) i want to find out how to reconfigure view of my mail so that i can both
see all messages to or from someone (okay, hit "from" or "to") and see those
messages chronologically NOT alphabetically by subject which is how microsoft
mail does it.

thanks.

There is a discussion group for Windows Mail. Here's how to find it through
a web interface:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.aspx

Click the + beside your language. then scroll down to Windows. In Windows,
find the category for Windows Vista. Open it and find the group for
Windows Mail.

There is a `web design` group over on google-groups. http://groups-beta.google.com/group/wd It's brief is for ``Discussion of web design (html, php, flash, wysiwig, cgi, perl, python, css, design concepts, etc.).``, but it's very quiet. I'd love to see it become a discussion forum for Python CGIs and associated issues (web design, the http protocol etc). Regards,

John Bentley: INTRO The phrase "decimal number" within a programming context is ambiguous. It could refer to the decimal datatype or the related but separate concept of a generic decimal number. "Decimal Number" sometimes serves to distinguish Base 10 numbers, eg "15", from Base 2 numbers, Eg "1111". At other times "Decimal Number" serves to differentiate a number from an integer. For the rest of this post I shall only use either...

Hi, I'm looking at adding a discussion forum to our site (C# or VB.NET). Any recommendations for a good discussion forum software? (both free and $$$$). I looked at InstantForum and it seems like no one's there since no one ever replies to your questions (even regarding sales). Thanks MA

Am I missing something? Selecting the discussion group for posting questions is much more difficult than it should be. I have to scan through the entire list every time ... there appears to be no organization to the list ....

Hello, I need to use a hashing function for relatively short strings (roughly 16 characters or less). The data that needs to be accessed via hash is just a simple int. I just need to look up values in two dimensional matrices each time that I encounter a pair of these strings. I would like to keep the code as simple and standard as possible, but at the same time to have a reasonable performance.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
