How do I set printer to print a particular size in multipage image.

1 New Member
I need to set the printer to Letter, Legal or 11x17 based on each page size in a multipage document (TIFF or PDF). I have enumerated through the paper sources and set the Pagesettings.Pa persize and Papersource = Automatically Selected, I have set the Papersource = Paperkind and several other attemps in the PrintPage event. I am sure I am dancing all around it but just missing something. I can retrieve my image dimensions in any of the events so I have the image data. I just need to figure out how to set the properties on a page by page basis. It needs to work on any laser printer.

Thank you in advance.

Hello group, My goal is to attach an image over another image. Top image should be transparent so the back image is visible through the top one. Bellow is a test code in VB.NET. You need to create a form, a button (Button1) and an Picture Box (picBox). "watermark.jpg" is any jpg image, "beispiel.tif" is a multipage TIFF image with the white background, which will turn to transparent. The most important thing here is that the TIFF image...

My program right now generates USPS style shipping label using System.Drawing.Graphics. It works fine except that the printer prints really slowly. I want to make my program take advantage of true type fonts. So I assume it's possible to send Font Type and the text to the printer, and the printer should digest and print faster. Still, barcode info needs to be sent as an image. When I print fifty copies of the same label it prints really...

Please excuse my cluelessness on the subject - this is the first time I've worked with printing in VB (and it may be the last) and the more I work with it, the more confused I become... First, I'm setting the printer's scale and the X,Y position of the output: Sub SetLargePrinterScale(obj As Object, VertPosition As Single) Dim Owid As Single Dim Ohgt As Single Dim Pwid As Single Dim Phgt As Single Dim Xmid As Single

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
