i downloaded oledb provider from mysql.com, i use Delphi's ADO. but i =
found that this oledb provider does not support transaction.
is there any oledb provider that does support transaction?

Today I managed to get the OleDB provider to let me put datasets from an
as400 using sql.
Great, the provider string I used is:

When I add a data adapter to form it bombs-out creating insert, update and
delete statements. I have tried creating my own, but getting weird results.
I have also used Access database in same context and everything works fine.
I know there where problems with original version of fox oledb provider, but
thought they were fixed.

Hi,
I currently have an application that connects to an MS ACCESS database. This
application uses an OLEDB connection string for MS ACCESS.
Now, I'd like to upsize the application so I converted the db to SQL SERVER
and this went well.
Next thing I changed the connection string from OLEDB for MS ACCESS to OLEDB
for SQL SERVER.
I expected this to work resonably well, however I found that it never worked

Using IBM iSeries client access OLEDB provider to connect to DB2 on AS/400,
but cannot create connection using .NET web app. Using following code:
Dim cnTest As New OleDbConnection("Provider=IBMDA400; Data Source=S10324NM;

Works fine in console app, but fails in web app with:
System.Security.SecurityException: Requested registry access is not allowed.

I have found a OLEDB Provider named "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Outlook
Search", is there anybody know how to manipulate it?
I want to do some operation with outlook but don't want to call the outlook
object or write macro on it. any suggestions?

I have an issue while saving .rpt file into DB2 database using C# windows application.
The provider i have used is OLEDB provider. It is not supporting to insert large amount of data i.e(.rpt) file into the BLOB feild of DB2 database.
