Hi all,
Help needed in the xsl transformation in c# while passing with arguments.
I am trying to transform an xml programtically (c#), while passing with two parameters using the
XsltArgumentLis t class.
My problem is in the transformed xml.
Even when I set in my XmlWriter the Encoding to UTF-8, or even when I set it null,
my output transformed xml is without the xml header encoding attribute:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
Wether I set the encoding to utf-8 or null, it does not have any effect on my output file.
My bits of code doing the transformation is:
XslTransform myTran = new XslTransform();
myTran.Load(xsl );
XsltArgumentLis t args = new XsltArgumentLis t();
args.AddParam(" param1", "", param1);
args.AddParam(" param2", "", param2);
XPathDocument xpathdocument = new XPathDocument(i File);
XmlTextWriter xmlWriter = new XmlTextWriter(o File, Encoding.UTF8);
// XmlTextWriter xmlWriter = new XmlTextWriter(o File, null);
myTran.Transfor m(xpathdocument , args, xmlWriter);
xmlWriter.Close ();
Please help me clear my mind on this!
Thanks in advance.

Hi
I am trying to transform on System.Xml.XmlDocument into another using
XslTransform without writing the object out to a file. I am guessing it
should work something like this...
public XmlDocument TransformXmlDoc(XmlDocument docToTransform, string
xsltFilePath)
{
//load the xslt

Hello *,
I'm trying to transform my DocBook document with the FO stylesheet
from the DocBook XSL distribution (the transformation with the XHTML
stylesheet works).
I changed "$years + 1" to "number($years) + 1" two times in
common.xsl. But the transformation doesn't work anyway. The funny
thing is, that if I use the msxsl command line utility there is no
problem. But when I use nxslt (or my own code) then I get the

Is there any way of specifying the startMode when using the xslTransform class?
We are updating code which used msxml to the system.xml classes but can find
no way to specify the startMode.
We use this so that we can specify different templates to be used by the
same xml node.
Know that we could use global params, but would rather not have to update
all teh stylesheets and any code that uses msxml and the same stylesheets.

Hi,
Can anybody explain the following?
Say I have the following source XML and XSLT (see below). No matter what
this XSLT does. It is just a sample to show a problem. the idea is that
XSLT transforms small XML into quite big XML. Now, I have a straightforward
C# (see below) code that does this transform and writes result into XmlTextWriter.
(Oleg's NXSLT.EXE is also suitable).

Hello,
I'm receiving:
'System.Xml.Xsl.XsltException: Missing mandatory attribute 'version'
After I try and run my transformation. I spent a good few days coming
up with the appropriate (I think) methods, and overrides for this task.
I have verified that the source XML and XSL will transform by means of
using the MSXML command line parsing tool (previous version of MSXML
though).
Here is my code:

Framework 1.1 SP1.
Page.xml is about 1.5mg. m_oXSLTransform.Transform takes about 2 minutes.
When Page.xml is trimmed down to a smaller doc, it takes about 2 seconds.
Same code ran in about 4 seconds under asp.

Hello,
I have a VB.Net component that uses the XslTransform object. I am using
the FXSL randomizeList function in my XSL template. When I transform
the XML in the VB.Net component, my application hangs. When I load the
XML
in a browser with a reference to the XSL template, it works fine.
Here is my XML:

Hello,
I have code created with .net 1.0 and migrated to 3.5.
Form 2.0 the XslTransform class is obsolete and the vs2008 compiler
generates warnings that these classes are absolete suggesting to use
XslCompiledTransform.
But all this was rendered using an Xml control and I can't find a way to
relate this control to an XslCompiledTransform ?
Any help appreciated to solve this migration pb.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
