simulate continuous forms & subforms in a windows forms application

I'm wondering how others have addressed UI requirements for Access-style
continuous forms and sub-forms in a windows forms application (besides
third-party products).

Thanks
Bill

Hi, I have two very similar forms each with a subform. The main form gets a few fields from the user and passes this back to a query that the subform is bound to. The requery is done when the user enters the last qualifying field on the main form. In one case this works fine, the subform shows the data the user wants to update -- which...

I've noticed that controls that are contained in MDI child forms fail to raise MouseLeave events if the MDI child form's MdiParent property is set to Nothing (after it was set to an existing MDI container form) or if the MDI child form's Visible property is set to False (after the MDI child form was shown). This is an enormous problem for my app...

I have a form with two subforms on it which are both continous forms. The subform on the left shows the tasks that the employee was assigned to accomplish (each as a seperate record) while the one on the right is where they put what tasks they actually did. It is important that I keep the assigned tasks unmodified because we eventually will be...

Hello all, I've seen many discussions regarding continuous forms in Access and how to highlight individual rows and they all seem to suggest conditional formatting as the only way. This is fine, but I am struggling to understand if it will solve my problem. I have two subforms on a main form that contain many rows of data. What I want to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
