Hello to everybody.I have a problem.I used a
TypeDescriptor to retrieve a TypeConverter to convert an
Image to a string.The problem is that it converts the
image to the string "System.Drawing.Bitmap" so lately I
can't convert the string to an Image.I've tryed to use an
ImageConverter too,but the result is the same. Why the
converter works like the Image.ToString() method?What's

I'm having problems with converting a byte array to an image object~
My byte array is an picture in VB6 StdPicture format. I've used propertybag
to convert the picture into base64Array format in XML, and embedded

I have a ASP.NET form with Web layout which I've achieved using panels. In
one of the tab I have a File control to upload Images. When I put a file in
the file control and move to another tab, I am loosing the file in the file
control. So, I am putting the file in a Session:

I need to set dynamically height and width attributes of an image control on
a WebForm. I know how to read the whole image from the hard-drive and use
its height and width properties. I guess it is not efficient as the whole
image needs to be read. I need to retrieve only two parameters: height and
width.
Is it possible to read only the size of image from the hard-drive?

More i just have the url (relative parth) to the the image but in design
time mode all variables concerning Server or Context
ar not set ! ...so I can't use MapPath function to obtain the physical

I think I can store Binary Data in SQL Server but when I try to retrieve it,
I always only get one byte.
I think I stored my Binary Data in SQL Server in a Colum of Type Image. At
least when I execute the following code, I get some significant network
traffic. When I check the database with query analyzer, I see 4 Hex Chars in
the image colum. Like 0xe0 etc.

pasting an image from the clipboard is proving to be more difficult. These
