Hi,
I have a gridView (grid1), which as a templateColumn.
In the template column, I have put in a gridView (grid2) and a
ObjectDataSource (objectDataSource2).
Question is... How to I pass the current_row_key of Grid1... to the
objectDataSource2 parameter?
(so that the second grid, gets only the information to do with current row
of grid1)

The problem
I'm using the .NET GridView and FormView objects for the first time and
im getting the error "An OleDbParameter with ParameterName '@ID' is not
contained by this OleDbParameterCollection" whenI try to write a new record.
Delete and Modify work fine its just the add record function causes the
error.

Hi, I'm a newbie to ASP.NET programming but not to Visual Studio.
I'm having trouble getting my Master-Details page to work. I have a
page enabled GridView which is linked to a FormView control through an
objectdatasource. The paging on my GridView works fine except that when
I change the page the FormView
does not update. I tried setting the selectedindex to 0 in the
GridView's PageIndexChanged event and manually binding the formview...

This seems like it should be simple and I am pretty sure I've done similar
things a hundred times before but I sure can't seem to get it right this time.
I have a GridView with a column of text boxes. If I want to position an
image over the GridView just below, for instance, the textbox in row 4 of the
GridView. I don't care that it covers the other textboxes. I am
successfully obtaining the textbox and the image objects in client-side...

Hi,
The funniest part of the problem described here is that I am not new to
ASP.NET, but honestly here I have no idea about what's going on.
I have a GridView with a data source that just returns 1 row of only 1
column.
The GridView has only one field, a TemplateField.
In GridView.RowCreated, I create a TextBox under a PlaceHolder statically

I have a small GridView about max 10 rows and few columns. The columns are
simple just a checkbox and a textbox and a bound name.
The users don’t want to click “edit” button to edit and save each row one by
one. They want to edit multiple rows and save once.
I try to put checkbox and textbox in ItemTemplate, and the UI looks OK on
client site. I can select checkbox and type chars in textbox. But when I try
to save them through...

Hi folks,
I've got another problem. Basically, I'm trying to use a nested GridView, however the nexted GridView displays no values (even though in debug I'm getting valid values into my DataSet. It's probably a binding issue somewhere, but I'm not sure where.
Here's the ASP (slightly edited to remove verbosity):
<asp:GridView ID="GridViewMain" runat="server" AutoGenerateColumns="False" BackColor="White" BorderColor="#999999"

Hi,
I have a multi-line textbox in a gridview when in edit mode. The textbox
(rendered as textarea in browser) set cols to 20 by default. I'd like the
textbox to 'adjust' itself to the width of the column. There are cases when
the column is much wider than the textbox. I could programmatically set
cols (through Columns property) but this is not going to work.
Is there a way to do that?
Thanks,

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development projectplanning, coding, testing, and deploymentwithout human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
