hi, all
Our program on handheld supports signature. And I am moving the code to
laptop. But it seems impossible to support signature without other hardware
device like "Writing Pad". Does anyone know if it is possible to do signature
with the laptop's touchpad?
Thanks

Sorry I know this is not the place but I think everybody should read this.
Does anybody knows about Toshiba A75 model?
I just bought one and started rebooting itself and freezeing at random
times. BestBuy return policy only covers 14 days and Toshiba send customers
to
repairing centers, to repair new computers! There is a class action suite
here:

I have been working with setting my drop boxes to allow double clicking to
select an item.
It worked fine until I made some changes. I then stripped the page down to
the bare essentials to find out why it quit working. I found that if I
didn't have a linkbutton, it quit working?????????
If I changed the linkbutton to a regular button, it quit working.
Here is the page:

Hi All,
I bought a Toshiba e755 PPC 2002 in Asia, unfortunately the 2003 upgrade was
not available in Asia, I was living in Taiwan and tried to get Toshiba to
ship a copy from the USA - I cannot even begin to explain how much time and
trouble this caused me - and in the end got nothing (but mad), anyway,
knowing I would be moving to the USA I decided to wait - it would be easy to
get it here I though, now it seems the upgrade has been...

Hi,
I have a set of simple webservices calls that worked fine using .NET
Framework 1.0.
I am calling a Java/Apache based webservices, the calling side is not able
to supply a proper WSDL.
What it does is to call a webservice with two parameters, one being a
integer, the other one being a "String" which contains XML (not the best
practice, however that is the target interface and we cannot change that).

hi everybody,
As my laptop keyboard was defective, I got a new one and replaced the same. But the new keyboard which I have received has got german language keys. So I had to change the 'Regional and Language Options' in Control panel to the German keyboard configuration. But in this process, I really dont know how, my touchpad and the associated click keys got disabled. Even the joystick and its associated click keys have been disbaled.

I have read many posts about changing from Vista to XP-Pro on different
Toshiba laptops. I'm looking to see if anyone can point me in the right
direction so I can get back the use of my USB flashdrive? Most of the
drivers came back once I went to Driver Detective but I still have several
that unidentified. I've been to Tohiba's website and downloaded an earlier
version for the USB driverer and it will not install on my system. The...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
