I have seen some examples of client-side code inside an ActiveX
control posting data back to the server in ASP. I have tried the code
and it works well. However, I need to see how this is done using
ASP.NET & VB.NET 2002 without requiring the .NET Framework to be
installed on the client-side browser.
I am writing a web-based system in ASP.NET & VB.NET 2002 that has to
use a VB6 ActiveX control on the client-side to automate Microsoft...

Posting variables from an HTML FORM, via

But how can you POST a Form variable to

Please tell me if this makes sense.
I have written an ASPX page to handle and process POSTed XML data to it. I
am expected the data to be in the Request.Form object. This works perfectly
fine when data is posted from an HTML page and even from a HTTPWebrequest..
Now.. I was getting strange or no data when receiving posted data from PHP
or from FLASH. If I do something along the lines of the listing below.. it
works and I get that data....

How would I post data from a listbox that allows multiple selections? How do
you join the name/value pairs for the posted data?
And for extra credit: Where is a page posting to when there is no "action"
in the form tag? It just says '<form method=post>'. I didn't think you could
do that, but there you go. Once I figure out how to post my data I have to
post it TO something but this web page has stuff I've never seen.

Hello,
I'm posting the data to another page and reading the results. I'm doing it
approximately as described here:
http://authors.aspalliance.com/stevesmith/articles/netscrape2.asp
It works fine. But I'm getting the result as one string. I know the field
names that are actually returned. Is there a way to return the value of each
field instead of the whole string? Request.Form(fieldname) doesn't seem to
work here.

I dynamically create buttons and associate them with an event using
AddHandler.
I want all the button events to fire at one time, when the page is posted,
instead of when each button is clicked.
How I stop the buttons from posting back when they are clicked?
Thanks

Hello,
I have a form with several buttons, and I need to post this data to several
different applications. In ASP.NET 1.1 it was quite easy - I just used HTML
controls (text or hidden), then assigned the action to each button on
Page_Load event:
Me.ibPayWM.Attributes.Add("onclick",
"noPostBack('https://merchant.webmoney.ru/lmi/payment.asp');")
Me.ibPayRx.Attributes.Add("onclick",

Hi,
I am near to desperation as I have a million things to get a solution
for my problem. I have to post a multipart message to a url that
consists of a xml file and an binary file (pdf). Seperately the
posting words fine but when I want to create one multipart message
with both then things go wrong.
The binary file is converted and of datatype byte()
The xml file is just a string.

Hi All,
I need to let user type some text in a textbox, and user will click a
button to submit the material.
It is very straightforward if we implement it by single thread.
But the submitting costs a lot of time, especially there are some
network latency.

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
