Extracting all the built-in and Custom Types available in a schema.

1 New Member
Hi,

I am designing a Schema Editor using the Schema Object Model in .NET 2.0. I am currently facing an problem wherein I want to list all the built-in data types as well as the custom types that are defined globally in the schema as well as the custom types that are defined globally in all the imported schemas. Basically, I want to list all these types in a drop down so that when user creates a new element or attribute, he can specify that element to be of a certain type by selecting it from a drop down.

for instance:
My schema looks like the following:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.
  2.  <?xml version="1.0"?>
  3.  <xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
  4.       xmlns:custImport1="http://www.mysite.com/myschema">
  5.
  6.     <xs:import namespace="http://www.mysite.com/myschema"
  7.       schemaLocation="schema1.xsd"/>
  8.     ...
  9.     <xs:complexType name="AddressType">
  10.         ...
  11.     </xs:complexType>
  12.     ...
  13.  </xs:schema>
  14.
  15.
the drop down list could contain something like:
xs:string
xs:decimal
xs:AddressType
custImport1: SSNType

Any help is appreciated.

Dear all, Are there any utility that can be call by python to create self extracting zip file. I'm now using the powerarchiever. But the command line options aren't flexible enough. Basically, I would like to create a self extracting zip with default file path extraction and force over-write. The powerArchiever just don't let me call it unless I'm using the GUI. Any idea, experience and suggestion are welcome. Thank you. -Calvin

Ok, now that I've got my disk imager program working, I'd like to attach a "self-extractor" to the front end of the image file and make it a self-extracting disk image executable file. The idea being that the user would double-click on the file and the disk would be created. I would like to be able to "create" the self-extracting disk image from my program. Any guidance on how to go about doing this? thanks.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
