Hello,
I've a float number 123456789.01 and, I'de like to format it like this
"123 456 789.01".
Is this possible with % character?

I was messing about with formatting and realized that the right kind of
object could quite easily tell me exactly what accesses are made to the
mapping in a string % mapping operation. This is a fairly well-known
technique, modified to tell me what keys would need to be present in any
mapping used with the format.
class Everything:
def __init__(self, format="%s", discover=False):
self.names = {}
self.values =

I am writing and .xml file and am not getting the formatting I would
like. The portion of the code that is giving me problems is as
follows;
XmlTextWriter tw = new XmlTextWriter(filename);
tw.Formatting = Formatting.Indented;
tw.WriteStartDocument();
tw.WriteStartElement("MyRoot");
tw.WriteStartElement("MyString);

Hi,
How can I format a string field using Data Formatting Expression property in
datagrid?
For example: format last name from BROWN to Brown.
Thanks

I have a gridview control. In this grid view there is a column for the
price of an item. Some of the prices have a dollar sign in front of it and
some dont. How do I get rid of the dollar sign if it is in front of the
value? My guess would be to use a template column but I dont know how to go
about this. Any ideas?
Below is an example of what the data looks like raw from the database:
$456.95
200.89

Hi Group,
Not looking for an answer, but more of an explanation. Thinking back
to those heady days when you had the time to do them, may I ask this.
Exercise 1-22 asks for a program to "fold" long input lines into 2 or
more shorter lines before the nth column... etc etc. Now, there are
numerous anwers on the web and in the "C answer book", which includes a
function to expand the tabs to blanks ( depending upon where the tab is
in...

Is there any builtin function or module with a function similar to my
made-up, not-written deformat function as follows? I can't imagine it
would be too easy to write, but possible...
'I am coding, and he coded last week.'
('coding', 'coded', 'week')
expanded (for better visual):
('coding', 'coded', 'week')

Hi Again,
I am reading a document into a page and then displaying it as source code (this is for an assignment.)
I feel that the output that I am getting is a little hard to read, and want to go beyond the scope of the assignment. I want to add formatting (just like what the tags on this forum does.
Does anyone know of a simple to implement API for ASP.NET that will allow me to implement this using the method of input below?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
