hi!!!
i need to display a disclaimer which is two page in length in a word
document. i also need to format the text. the idea is something as
follows
on opening the application, a form which serves as splash screen with
the disclaimer of the application is shown. now the problem i am
running into is in the display of the disclaimer which is really two
page long and it should be formatted too. using a textbox seems not

I created a dropdownlist containing day, month and year field and expose a property to assign a date. When I call from a aspx page and assign the value, the new date is not displayed until a submit is performed.
How do I force the usercontrol to display the newly assigned date? I don't have this problem if I place the two dropdownlist and the year field directly on the aspx page.

Hi all,
I need to format screen output for a textbox that's bound
to a datasource. I know how to format the data in a
plain old string, but in this case I'm not sure where
to "sneak" in there to do the formatting.
For example, textbox txtAcctBalance is bound to a
currency field in my dataset, and when the value shows up
on the screen I want it formatted as currency ("C").

I am trying to display XML in a WebBrowser Control. I receive a data feed of
XML and am trying to inject it into the control. I have not been successful
in doing so.
The only solution I have found is to write it to a temp file and then use
the Navigate method to load it. As the control is capable of loading it from
disk, I would like to find a way to skip the save/load and just inject.

I have a table in an sql database that contains data that has been encrypted
using the DPAPI.
What I am trying to achieve is to bind several controls on a vb 2005 windows
form to those fields but display the decrypted data in the controls instead
of the encrypted data. I also want to use a binding navigator to scroll
through the records and to add/delete records. I don't have a problem with

Hello everyone, this one might be simple but driving me crazy!
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Basically, I created a textbox bound to "Date" field in an Access VBA form. But when the field has date in "mm/dd/yyyy" format (for ex: 09/03/2008), the textbox displays it as 9/3/2008.
Can anyone suggest how to display date in "mm/dd/yyyy" format in a bounded textbox.

Hi I have a webform with several entry boxes and the user enters numbers in
each box. I keep a running total (just adds all of the entries together) but
am posting back to the server to do this. Is there any way to do it all on
the client side, without posting back to the server? I would like to update
the running total each time the user inputs an amount in a textbox and then
goes to the next textbox.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
