I want to generate a simple report that will display information from my
customer table in a report format. I created a simple Customers.rdlc file
that contains three text boxes bound to
=First(Fields!Name.Value)
=First(Fields!Address.Value)
=First(Fields!Contact.Value)
placed a ReportViewer Control on one of my aspx pages. I selected the
Customers.rdlc file and accepted the default datasource it generated. (I am

I need help on how to manipulate the data returned from the database for

So far I have an rdlc file with a dataset, binding source and Tableadapter
as created by the wizard and all work fine
However I want to be able to change the displayed report at runtime when the
user selects a different report type from a combobox but am unsure how to do

I am trying to use the Reportviewer control. I have been following an
example from the web, and the instructions from the help files on set up a
..rdlc and binding it to the reportviewer control. The help files state that
in the form the contains the reportviewer control there is a tasks smart tags
panel in design view. I don't see any such thing. Where do I need to look
to see this panel?

I have a reportviewer control. I programmatically set the local
report path based on a drop down on a page. This allows the user to
choose which format (RDLC file) to use when generating the report.
The first request, the report processes properly, however if I choose
a different report format, the old report still renders. I'm doing
a .refresh for the report...
I tried turning off Viewstate for the report, but it says that...

Hi and thanks in advance for your help.
I have a Reporting Services report that I need to display in an
ASP.NET web page using the ReportViewer. However I can't link the
Reporting Services report (.rdl) to the ReportViewer! I have the
ReportViewer.LocalReport.ReportPath set to the path of the .rdl report
but the report still dosen't display.
Can somebody help me on this?

an .RLDC report in local report.
The columns for the report are essentially:
Month Item #1 Item#2 Item#3
I would like to add a checkbox or dropdown control to the .RLDC and have
Item #1, Item #2, or Item #3 display conditionally based on a checkbox being
clicked or a dropdown value being selected.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
