Hi,
I have the problem switching off the "loading of external DTD" feature while
transforming xml/xslt with XALAN.
The used xml-parser is XERCES.
I know how to switch off this feature when only parsing XML (SAX-API)
(
saxParser.setFeature("http://apache.org/xml/features/nonvalidating/load-exte
rnal-dtd", false) )
and I would like to know how to switch off this when using XALAN/XERCES in

Hi all,
I've created XML documents that are described with a schema. I'm using those
documents to create web pages.
All my web pages contain a fixed header and a variable document part. The
header is the same in each page and is described in an XML document,
"Head.xml". The document part, which is variable in content, is described in
other XML files (e.g. "Document.xml", "Product.xml", "Register.xml").

Hello,
I am trying to learn XSLT to use it in another project. I start reading
the book "Java and XSLT" and tried the examples and they are went quite
fine (how suprising *g*).
Then I tried to adopt these examples to my files. Unfortunately I did
not work even though the styleSheet is very simple. Perhaps you can help
me with it.

Hello,
I have sort of a big problem. I would really appreciate any help you
could give me.
I made a web service in C++ that throws XML to the client (browser).
But, the XSLT transormation (xml->html) doen't happen!
I have XSLT files for this, they work, I mean when I put the output of
the app as an XML file on some server, and make it use the XSLT files to
transform into HTML, it works, I get a HTML page.

Hi there,
this is a Java-XML Question, so I am not sure whether this is the
right place, haven't found anything better ....
I try to convert a Java object to XML via SAX and let the FOP
Transformer convert that via XSLT to valid XSL-FO. So I define a
SAXReader which fires the SAX Events for the Java Object. This works
fine and the Transformation to PDF is ok.
However, I have one object which contains an XHTML String and the tags

I'm very new to developing in .NET and even newer to XML. The past few days
have been pretty frustrating for me because I'm trying to perform a transform
on data in a dataset and it's not working.
Basically, all of the data is stored in an Access .mdb that is read into a
dataset when the application is loaded. There are some minor changes to the
schema between what is in the physical database to accomodate some things
that Access just...

The Following is an Error I am getting using VS.NET 2003. When I bind the XML and XSLT Document together in Internet Explorer it works fine. However when I attempt to Load the File with the XSLTTransform.Load it raises this error. I have attempted to use a DNS Resolver hoping that I could get it to request a URI or URN that i could return a Custom XSLT Context to (or something - grasping at straws since nobody else seems to have documented the...

I have done my best to answer this question but can not find the
proper set of commands. I would like
to transform an xml file (in code behind) and display its output in a
specific html tag, such as a div with
a runat=server. I can somewhat do this if I create a server control
and include the control within the html
div tag but this method (borrowed from ASP.NET Website Programming by
Wrox press thanks guys) does not give me
the full...

I am trying to transfor an XML document prior to loading into a
Dataset. My problem stems from the known bug in Visual Studio that
prevents loading a well formed XML because of duplicate child names:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;325696
Anyway, I want to transform the XML using the XSLT to get around this
problem, but I am having a tough time coming up with a way to apply
the XSLT before loading it into the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
