C# Interop.Excel, ERROR: "your Data is DELIMITED" Choose File Type

21 New Member
Hi all,

I have an application that manipulates excel files without any problem.
The problem is for a certain folder where files are giving me an error: When I check those files Excel ask me to choose the file that best describes my data as the Text Wizard has determined that my data is delimited....
How can I modify my C# Net 2.0 M (COM Excel 11.0) program to bypass this error?
I am surprised because in my program, "t" has already been coded?????
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Workbook theWorkbook = ExcelObj.Workbooks.Open("C:/Report.xls", 0, true, 5,"", "", true, Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.XlPlatform.xlWindows, "\t" , false, false, 0, true, false, false);
Any idea how I can still use my program?

Thank you for your suggestions,

I am using a session variable to transfer a value from a form to a confirmation.asp page. This value is a calculated field. For most cases this session variable value should be zero. However, instead,...

A97 has menu options that support exporting table data to ms excel data file format. Is this easily implemented from within code? Any examples? I looked in A97 HELP for the TransferSpreadsheet Action but there was no example code (Example appeared at the top next to 'See Also' but it was grayed out).
