How are multiple clients handled?

Hi,
Am developing a webservice. Am wondering how multiple clients will be
handled. Do I need to write anything in code to take care of many clients or
does IIS take care of it?

What if I'm not using IIS and am writing my own httplistener? In this case
how do I handle multiple clients?

If using IIS, IIS and ASP.NET will take care of it for you. All you have to
do is to realize that each request will occur on a separate worker thread,
so always be careful about modifying shared data.

I'm sorry, but I haven't read up on HttpListeners yet. I expect you'll have
to do for yourself what ASP.NET would do for you, though it's possible that
the HttpListener API will pass requests to you on separate threads. I don't
know one way or the other.

As part of my project to create this documentation, I...

I am trying to query 3 tables all related by Clinet_ID. The Clients table, Monthly_Expenses table and Monthly_Income table. Each client can have 0>M instances of expenses, past due expenses, and income so I am using the SUM aggregate function to get the totals for the Monthly_Epenses.Amount, Monthly_Expenses.Past_Due_Amount, and Monthly_Income.Amount. Then problem I am having and cannot seem to resolve is that the Monthly_Income is...

I have an ASP.NET web application that needs to be rolled out to a number of clients. The functionality is the same in all applications, but each client has its own database. At the moment, I have one application per client, but most of the files in the applications are the same, so this is not ideal from a maintenance point of view. The only differences between the client applications are:

I have been having some fun learning and using the new Controls and methods in .Net 2.0 which will make my life in the future easier and faster. Specifically the new databinding practises and wizards. But, I have found that trying to do something "outside the norm" adds a rather large level of complexity and/or data replication. Background I have been commissioned to create a web-based application for a client. It has a formsaunthentication...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
