Web Service Extension (WSE3.0)

1 New Member
Hi

My client machine is using framework 1.1. The web service is also developed based on framework1.1.
Between the clent and webservice host i am using an intermediate machine in which WSE3.0 is installed (WSE3.0 is based on framework2.0). I created a webservice i.e. Perimeter Router Service in this intermediate machine which will route the request from client to the particular webservice host.

Problem: In this case is my client machine can communicate with the Perimeter Router Service?

Regards
Sravan

It should work. The easiest way to know for sure, however, is to try it.

I found an article on calling a .NET web service from Java but it seemed to rely on GLUE and I was unable to find out how to download that software. There seems to be alot written on the Sun site, and I have downloaded the SDK and the web services SDK but I am not sure where to proceed from there. Basically I want to show how to do these simple tasks: 1) Call a .NET web service from a Java client 2) Build Java proxies based on a WSDL....

Hi All I would like to install the same Windows Service project on the same server under different names, one for each customer. I have been able to do it but I would like an expert opinion as to whether my solution is robust or whether there is a better way to do it. What I've been trying to do is to create a core project with different extension projects, one for each customer. I wanted to create a different Setup project for each...

Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to add a service reference to a web service which requires an SSL certificate to authenticate? If not, if I have the SSL certificate installed via mmc snap-in, is there another way to send an XML payload to the web service with an SSL certificatre attached to the request? Appreciate any thoughts on this as I am a bit of a newbie.

I'm having an issue calling a java-based web service from a C#/.NET 2.0 client that uses WSE 3.0. (No WCF) There is an operation on the web service that takes a single base64 encoded parameter that is transported as a MTOM mime part in a multipart request. The web service provider has sent me a trace of a successful SOAP request and I have traced my SOAP request and I do not see any differences other than differences in how the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
