I’m wrote a small DLL that used the FreeImage.DLL (that can be found at
http://www.codeproject.com/bitmap/graphicsuite.asp).
I also wrote a small console application in C++ (unmanaged) that uses the
DLL above.
Now the application, together with the above DLL’s is successfully loading a
TIF image file (62992 x 113386 Pixels, Huffman RLE compression, 3200 x 3200
DPI resolution, binary colored (1 Bit Per Pixel), file on disk size 43.08...

Am I mistaken in thinking that if I have a mc++ dll that I should be able to
link against it (so long as it has exported symbols via declspec(dllexport))
in an unmanaged application?
I am currently testing this and it fails. I have a native, unmanaged test
application that links against my mc++ dll with a function entry point.
Linking works fine, no errors. When I try to run in the debugger I see the

Bakground: I have a webform (LoadCtl.aspx) which loads the user control to a
placeholder dynamically based on the ctlName querystring passed in the URL.
Webform (LoadCtl.aspx) also passes a variable (targetId) in to the

I actually have two questions here, but I'll start by giving an outline

Is there a way to call an API in unmanaged DLL from C# application in a
way that the name of the API is generated programmatically?
For example, I have API_AAA(p1,p2) & API_BBB(p1,p2,p3) defined in an

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
