Hello,
I have the following code placed at my Page_Load event and after the
Datagrid is binded, so it is not empty. The problem is that the variable
isclass is always returning null and I am sure that the Category
ItemTemplate is there and that it is previouly populated. Am I missing
something? Here's the code:

Well I'm trying to catch and act upon a button event that is placed within
the item template of a repeater control. Yet the code I'm using isn't
working. What I've seen out there to explain how to do this is way
complicated and assumes a familiarity with dot net that I don't have yet.
I'll get it eventually but this is where I'll get it. Here's my code.

Hello -
I'm using a Repeater control to render information in a very customized
grid-like table. The Repeater control is binded to a DataSet with several
records of information. Within the Repeater control, I've placed
DropDownLists and CheckBoxes.
When the user has updated the information, he/he clicks the submit button
which is outside the scope of the Repeater control.

Hello All,
I am working to create a generic datagrid which accepts a
datasource(ListData - This is our own datatype) and depending on the calling
program customizes itself for sorting, paginantion or accepting the add and
remove item events.
What i am observing is that none of the vents are happening... (Sort, page,
or item). I am sure I am missing something basic here... Need help... Thanks

I had to draw my own control because I couldn't find any control doing what
I wanted it to do. This control has a grid that I need to have control over.
To do that, I draw each line of the grid using a 1pixel pictureBox. I also
need "boxes" to be placed within that grid depending on data pulled from my
dataset. I also used pictureBox controls for that. All those components that
I use to draw my control are added to the controls collection...

How do I get the data bindings for a control that is bound at design time?
I'm binding a DataGridView control to a data source at design time, using a
BindingSource control. I set the grid's DataSource property to the
BindingSource control, which the Data Source Configuration Wizard created
for me.
The data binding works fine when I run the app, but I can't get a reference
to the DataGridView's data bindings.

I am a beginner in VB 6.0.. I am building a program in which i placed a data grid and ADO control.
my problem is.. for example i have to search for the name "ANDREA" in the data grid,
if i clicked on the search command, the name "ANDREA" shld only appear on the data grid and the other names/data should not.
does anyone have an idea about this. please help me.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
