Ok I'm trying to run a php script written by someone else, not me, and it's
getting stuck in a particular step. Actually it isn't getting stuck per se,
but the browser is, because it's taking forever to return the results back
to the browser.
Here's the line that's responsible for this:
$users = $db->query_return_array("SELECT * FROM user");
It's getting stuck because in my database I have over 60,000 records. Now,

Hello Experts!
I have this constructor for class Flight.
Flight::Flight(string flight_no, Klocka dep_t, Klocka arr_t)
: no(flight_no), dep(dep_t), arr(arr_t) {}
Both dep and arr are objects of the Klocka class in the definition of the
Flight class.

Hi,
Using Access 2003.
I am trying to delete records from one table/query
("qryHistoryPersonIDs") if they don't exist in another table
("qryDonations"). But the SQL syntax I came up with is taking forever
or locking up Access 2003.
What am I doing wrong?

hi,
when i am trying to browse my project using http://localhost/project/,
the webserver is taking forever to load the page and is consuming all
the CPU cycles. My project was working great till yesterday, and I
have hardly made any changes to web.config.
the http://localhost/ is rendering me the IIS help page successfully.
Sorry for being for terse about the problem. I would be happy if you
have pointers to troubleshoot.

Hi;
On my home computer (work computer is fine), when I create a new ASP .NET
project, it takes minutes (no exageration) for it to create the project. It
is paused forever on a dialog that says something like connectiong to
localhost/project.
And when I start the debugger, it takes about 20 seconds for the page to
come up.

Hi,
I have created an ASP.NET application (let's call it FooBar) with VS.NET on
my local machine, residing in http://localhost/FooBar. Deploying it to
another folder on my machine works well with FrontPage Server Extensions,
but I don't manage to deploy the application to my web provider http root
folder.
When I run Copy Project, I get an error message just saying 'Unable to
create Web project 'myname'. Not found.'.

Hi all,
I'm trying to implement a certain class but I have problems regarding
the copy ctor. I'll try to explain this as good as possible and show
what I tried thusfar. Because it's not about a certain code syntax but
more a 'code architecture' thing , I'll use simple example classes
(which are certainly not complete or working...) just to illustrate the
idea (and I may make some mistakes because I'm not that experienced...).
The...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
