:I Created a Pocket PC application for iPAQ 5450. Every thing went fine even
installer creation. I could run the setup and install it into the actual
device and worked fine. The application enables syncronization with remote
database using merge replication.
I found contradictory results while installing the application. I will

I am madhav. i am getting an installation error while installing VS2005. It
fails at Mdac 2.8 sp1. says "INF Install failure Access denied" Can any one

I just received my Visual Studio upgrade to 2005 and tried to create a new
web site via File | New Web Site with location http. Unfortunately I
received the following error:
"Visual Web Developer does not support creating Web sites on a SharePoint
Web server"
If I create a new server extensions 2002 web in IIS and mark it as an
application and try to use it from Visual Studio I receive the same error.

Hello,
I have a relatively simple application that I'm trying to migrate from
VS2003 to VS2005. The problem I'm having is that after compiling with
VS2005, it won't run on any system that doesn't have VS2005 installed.
I'm sure there are just some libraries that get installed with VS2005
that don't exist (or at least the correct version doesn't exist) on
these systems.

I have .NET 1.1 on my system and applications for .NET 1.1 work great. Just
the upgraded or new applications don't "see" the .NET 2.0 installed.

Yay!!! They fixed this for VS2005. You can now set the default
installation to be "Everyone" instead of "Just Me" and you can control
whether you even want those radio button installed in your Setup
program.

Hi, I'm using vs2005, .net2 for windows application. I would like to run a
command after my windows applciation is installed to install some property
pages in the registry. Currently I mannually run it in Dos Command:
"regsvr32 xxxx.dll". How can I add this ability in my application
installation file so it will run automatically as part of my application
