Hi,
For the last 2 years I've been developing vehicle tracking/telemetric
software for a company as a self employed individual. The project is
quiet big, and is going to be there flagship product. Since I had no
other work at the time, I agreed to a low rate when I first started
which was £100 a day. The project started small, so it was only going
to be for a few months, and I badly needed the money. The project soon
balooned into...

What do people recommend for storing money amounts? I've seen people use
NUMERIC(18,3) and other use NUMERIC(18,4). Which one is more appropriate
and why? This is considering various existing currencies, some having
low rates (like IDR, in which you can have large amount up to hundreds
of trillions) and some high rates (like USD, in which you can have small
amount like 0.1 cent). Are there places/industries which involve values
lower than...

Folks,
I've been exercising my mind recently about the complexities of implementing
a "currency" data type within DB2 to cope with multiple currencies.
A monetary value is often simply represented as a DECIMAL column : for
example many times I've seen DECIMAL(12,2) used. The issue with this is
that there is nothing to interpret what currency this relates to (US
dollars, Canadian dollars, Euros, British pounds or whatever), and a...

Is it possible to turn off the "$" and "," that appear in "money" formatted
columns so I can dump the table in a numeric format?
The man page hints that lc_monetary controls the formatting but I
cannot find any clues on what to do...
Apparently money cannot be cast to anything.
I don't think it will be hard to write a custom tcl/perl
script that takes a "copy checks to...." command to do the task

I deleted an account with payments linked to it, but clicked the wrong button
to delete the payment transactions linked to the account.
The transactions that where linked to the account still show in my cashflow
forecast and I cannot delete them, so hence my cashflow forecast is wrong. i
have tried deleting them from the cashflow report, but it wont let me.
Anyone got any ideas?

I have been succesfully using Money 99 for many years. About 12 months ago an
error message began to appear whenever I update the latest prices on my
Investments page by selecting "Online updates" function. The internet
connection is made and the prices are updated correctly, but when the update
is finished the 'Call Summary' screen reports the following:
"Internet Information. The internet, banking, or stockbroker server could

Hi:
I've been using MSN Bill Pay for years to pay my bills. I recently decided
to look into Microsoft Money as I wanted a desktop application to manage and
pay my bills.
I downloaded the trial and set things up. Everything worked fine until I
got to the point of adding MSN Bill Pay as an account. I was able to add it
but when it came time to access it, I couldn't figure out where to go within
MSN Bill Pay to have it give me a PIN or...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
