Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to create a form in Access2000,
which would function like a calendar for 8 operating rooms in
hospital, showing which hours are those closed for a specific date.
For this intersection I would like to be appeared the name of the
doctor, the name of the patient and the kind of operation.
Furthemore I would like this intersection to be marked in the calendar

Using Visual C++ and MFC, one could generate a very nice MMI using
CFormView and the method detailed in the MSDN "vswap" example to allow
multiple forms to be viewed ( switched to ) within a single application
( i.e. a single app running and a single window).
A very useful method indeed - very rapid to develop, forms designed at
design time, all forms encapsulated within one window, SDI, only one task on
taskbar etc...

application has several panels that need to be displayed at various times
depending on what the user is doing. They all need to sit inside a main
frame (form). The various screens could be:

I have an MDI app....
All child MDI windows are non-updateable... however, the users may leave the
windows open... and there can be several of them.
I want to implement a system to dispose of MDI child windows after a period
of inactivity, in order to release resources and fire a garbage collect...
Does anyone have any views, or ideas on how to do this??

Hi all
I load datas from an SQL server to a Datagrid. The datagrid columns are
basically read only but one column is not -> the checkboxcolum. The
user needs to be able to check or uncheck this column for selection.
Now at the end of the datagrid (last row) there is another row with a *
in front of it. Once a user clicks on that, at the position of the
checkboxcolumn, it'll add a new row to the datagrid with NULL values.

I am having serious problems trying to switch from Large and small icon
views to detail views. What looks fine in Large and small icon views shows
