Display XML data from a RS dataset

I have a RS dataset that contains XML data, but when this data is
displayed on the browser it shows as a string. I need help to display
this data as a formatted XML document in browser. I have tried using
web services but I was not able to pass report parameters to the web
service.

Desperately looking for a solution!!!

On the web services side, depending on the complexity of your report
parameters you should be able to setup a webservice that returns the xml
based on passed parameters. If you have the return type of your webservice
as Xml.XmlNode then return the XmlDataDocument from the Dataset. Also, if
you setup the webservice to be accessible using HTTP GET (rather than POST
or SOAP) then you'll be able to see the xml formatted in the browser.

Hi, I'm working on a Windows applicaton with VS 2003 on windows 2000. I have a listbox that I have binded to a dataset table, "source" which has 3 columns. I would like to display 2 of those columns, "scode" and "sname", as 1 column (if not possible then 2 columns will be fine) in the listbox. Can the listbox display 2 columns information from the dataset and how can I do that? Also, I set the property of the listbox to selectionmode...

Hi, I tried to use a listbox to display a column in MS Access 2000 nwind.mdb by using ole DataAdapter, Connection and dataset controls. I have an application with a list of questions, which are associated with answers by a questId in a one-to-one relationship. The questions may come from an XML file or a SQL Server database. The answers data will always come from a SQL Server database. I am trying to use a DataList (preferably) or Repeater to display the questions and update the answers. I am using .Net 1.1. I have created a DataSet with separate tables for questions...

Hello. For some reason, I am able to "connect" to the Northwind database whenever I use the wizard; however, when I run the application, my datagrid does not display. Here are the exact steps I am taking to try to get this to run: 1)New Project -->ASP.NET Application 2) From the Server Explorer, drag the Northwind Employees table onto the WebForm1.aspx design view. SqlConnection1 and SqlDataAdapter1 are created. 3) From the Toolbox,...

I'm using SQLDataSource, which generates some kind of dataset, and then I attach that datasource to various data display controls such as DataList and repeater which loop through to the end of the data that was retrieved by the query. At times I may want the display control only to render some items in the set of data returned by SqlDataSource. There would be several scenarios: * render the second data item or third item in to the end...

With other solutions I would get a recordset, read each record and display data by formating my html as I wanted to display values of each record. I am trying to display data in a three column three row table with paging. How does this translate to ASP.NET - or - what ASP.NET tools do I use to accomplish this and how. Thank you.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
