Hi Wonder if someone has some words of wisdom. I have a access 2002 form that contains 2 graph objects that overlay each other and would like to export them as a JPEG to use in a presentation. I can do this individually for each graph but this does not help me as I need both on the same JPEG. I thought I would try an export the form that contains both but I am having trouble. (My VBA is self taught and a little knowledge is...

I'm currently exporting a form to Excel. Because there are controls and totals in the header, I first have a button for users to convert to a datasheet. Then I use the automated quick office Export to Excel Link then I have a button which returns the user to a form view. It's a 3 step process with the user needing to Save As in Excel if they wish to keep the spreadsheet. Are there any other easier options? It seems I should be able...

Thanks for taking the time to read this note. I have a Access inventory collection tool that I have automated to build and Export to a CSV file. In the database I have several fields that are large text fields for comments. When I'm collecting data I have set the <Enter> button to move to next line instead of the default. We are trying to import this CSV data file in to a Remedy SQL server using the Remedy Import tool. This import...

Hi! I would like to export some MS-Access reports output to pdf. However, the only possibility offered by Access (afaik) for me to export formatted output is snp (snapshot) (I use MS-Office XP Prof. 2002 version). With formatted output I mean the *exactly* output I produce from executing my report (information is gathered from an ODBC database).

We currently have an application built in Access that takes in a csv file using docmd.transfertext. We allow users to export their data to a file for later use (csv format). Users are also allowed to re-import their archived data. This all works fine, until we have to update the application for international users. The original csv files sent to users contain dates and numbers in US format. However, once imported, the numbers appear...

Its great producing data for users to look at in your web pages and generally that is sufficient for their needs but sometimes you may want to supply your user with the data in a form they can actually do something more with. This code shows you how to display data from your database and then how to give that data to the user in the form of a useable Excel spreadsheet which they can then take away and play with themselves. The way I have shown...

Hi, We are developing a SQL server based asp.net application. As part of requirement we should allow users import/export some relational data through web user interface. We are investigation which file format would be the most efficient format to import export relational data. So far we came up with two options: XML and Access MDB files and we prefer MDB files.

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
