I have a subform where I have a subform with 20 options to select
from. When I set the multiselect property to simple and select
multiple options, nothing is stored. I have another table with
fieldID and fieldtype and I would like for evertime something is
selected in the listbox for a new entry to be created with that
fieldtype for the corresponding fieldID which is linked to the main
form. Basically, how do I get info from the listbox...

I'm looking for a way to deny a move from the current listbox item. For
instance, if the user is editing the record associated with the current
listbox item I want to deny a move within the listbox until they have saved
the changes. Is there any way to deny a move from the current item so the
SelectedIndexChanged event never fires no matter move the movement was
attempted? Whether the user uses the cursor keys or mouse to try and leave...

Hi All,
On my form, I have 2 listboxes that get populated with the correct items.
I have 4 buttons between the 2 boxes. The first 2 buttons are used to move
the selected item
back and forth between the boxes. That works fine.
The last 2 are used to move all the listbox items (whether they're selected
or not) that are in 1 box over to the other box.
After the move, I want the other box to be empty. I am calling clear() and

Greets All,
Question on data in datagrid /listbox and looping?
I’m trying to decide the best way to write this code.
1 would like the user to make several selections from one listbox/combo box that would
Populate another Listbox/datagrid. Then it would cycle through the selections made in the populated listbox/datagrid and do some calculations. The calculations made would have to add the first two numbers in the populated...

Hi All,
How to move the CommandButton control using mouse from one position to
other?
Is it possible using Drag, Drop events or I have to write my own code for
that?
I have set the "AllowDrop" property to true. But when I try to drag the
Button it doesn't move.
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,
I have two listboxes on a page and need to move items between them - using
buttons (e.g. "<<" ">>"). Can this be done on a client side in asp.net?
I'd like to avoid hitting the server on every add/remove.
Thanks,
Bogdan

I have a .net app that a user currently enters a number in a text box,
hits a button and a data call is executed. She wants the ability to
enter in multiple numbers (up to 100).
So to make things look better visually for that, I created a listbox
under the text box. She enters the number in the text box, clicks
another button I added and the number is stored in the list box. Then
my plan was to grab all those numbers from the list box...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
