Hertz Reservation System Web Service (XML API)

Hi,

Can somebody please confirm if "Hertz Rent A Car" company's reservation
system has XML API to develop software for integration with other 3rd
party software?

I apologize if I am putting the question in a wrong group?

Thanks
Manik

You're definitely asking the wrong group.

Contact the company directly. They're the ones who could answer whether
such an API exists and/or whether it will be stable enough for you to
code against it.

These Reservations can be originated using an Interactive Voice Response System (IVR), a Web enabled form, and in the 4th Quarter of 2003, a Palm Pilot interface, too. They all feed into the same backend database in real-time offering considerable savings in determining the exact

Would you use Access to create a car rental reservation system? I would think that the complexity of such a system would be better suited to a procedural language like Visual Basic or C++. Your thoughts, please. Robert

I have a vb.net web service and client that are both working fine. If someone wanted to consume our web service using .NET, no problem. Im a little confused on how non .NET clients would use the web service though. Question 1: Does Java etc have some kind of SOAP tool kit developers could use to access our web service? Question 2: .NET conveniently shows what the serialized xml looks like and what the web service expects (Please see...

When I try to add the corresponding Web Reference to the Web Site project I get the error listed below. I am able to create other Web Services on the same server and I am able to add Web Referneces to them. I have narrowed it down to the "Imports System.Data.SqlClient"...

Hi, I am wondering why the .NET Framework is quite different from Win32 API when it comes to displaying system modal message boxes. Consider the four following types of system modal message boxes (please see associated source code below): 1) Win32 API with context ("btnWin32WithContext_Click") 2) .NET Framework with context ("btnFrameworkWithContext_Click") 3) Win32 API withOUT context ("btnWin32WithOUTContext_Click")

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
