i don't know wether i have got your question or not but you can use Dreamviewr also to create asp.net pages. also if you are using complemetely html page, simple copy all the elements and paste in your asp.net script. it would create all the elements at time of rendering.

i hope it works fine.

yes. copy that html file in to that folder .

and include that file in your project .

just change the .html extention to .aspx.

it will sk you to create .aspx.vb and resource file . make it yes.

it will automatically converted into aspx. page

hello

if you want to use html page as webpage in your .net application simply copy the html code and paste it in html of your aspx form.first delete all the html content of your webform(only from code between html tags) then paste the existing code at that place

Hi all, I'm having a bizarre problem converting XML files to HTML using an XSLT. The problem is only occuring in my Netscape 7.0 browser. What makes it more bizarre is that it is only happening when I put my XML files and the .xsl files on my ISP's system for my home page. If I try to open the XML files in Netscape 7.0 on my own machine (ie, not on the ISP's system), the pages convert file and the result is displayed in HTML.

Hi, I'd like to include the whole web page content (as opposed to just the headlines) into RSS/XML to enable people to read them via rss feed readers. Question: how to convert HTML elements such as href, img, b, p, etc into XML? I've seen someone use the following in their RSS feed but I don't like it because <pre> doesn't produce a nice format:

Hi all, I was always told that the conversion of Word files to HTML as done by Word itself sucks - you get a lot of unnecessary code that can influence the design on web browsers other than Internet Explorer. Our computer expert in my company had told me already a while ago that I should learn HTML and encode myself. I was never inclined to do so (I am no computer expert), and when upon his suggestion I looked how my pages (converted to...

I have a website ( http://www.zen62775.zen.co.uk ) that I made HTML 4.01 Transitional and CSS compliant, and I'm thinking of converting it into XHTML to learn a little about it. Which XHTML variant would you recommend? The w3c HTML validator mentions XHTML 1.0 Transitional, Basic, Strict, and XHTML 1.1. Would I be able to make my existing CSS work in the XHTML page without modification to the .css file?

I am converting an ASP Classic web site to an ASP.NET application and have some real basic formatting or design questions. (The classic ASP site has both code (forms) and content pages.) 1.When moving a significant amount of content from the ASP classic page (basically formatted text in <P> tags) to an ASP.NET webform, is it better to add it to the webform as HTML or should I put each paragraph into separate (or perhaps a single) ...

Hello, A partner is going to be creating some HTML files that I plan on converting to user controls (UC) and dynamically load at runtime. I'm guessing Visual Studio doesn't come with some utililty to convert HTML files to UCs? IOW, I'll have to manually convert each HTML file to a UC? I've never used user controls before, so I'm wondering what I need to add and remove to each UC (or HTML file) to make this work. For instance, I...

I add several JavaScript events (onchange, onkeypress, etc.) to Controls using the Add method of the Attributes collection. However, if the JavaScript code contains certain characters, such as & or < or several others, it converts them to html, such as &amp; or &lt; which can sometimes cause my scripts not to work. How can I prevent ASP.NET from doing this? Thanks. -- Nathan Sokalski njsokalski@hotmail.com http://www.nathansokalski.com/

Is there a function in VS or a utility that will take an HTML file and create a code-behind ASPX page? The idea is, I'd like to be able to have someone develop beautiful, fully functional HTML pages and then pull them in and convert them to ASPX WebForms, doing a bunch of things like: Convert various standard html tags to <ASP:...equivalents, etc., etc. Any ideas?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
