Retrieving Event Properties.

Hi All,

According to my project requirement I will give the EventID as input of
any Event.
[Ex : MSSQLSERVER EventID is 17055]. So I have to retrieve all the
properties of Event. [Ex : you restart the MSSQLSERVER Service and see
the Event Viewer log file so you will have the Log Entry for
MSSQLSERVER double click on it. so u will find some of the properties
of the events like Date, Time, Source, EventID, Description...e tc.].

Sincerely,
Rasheed

I'm trying to get the Name of the USB device pluged in from the RegisterDeviceNotification that I've used P/Invoke to marshal. I have seen a similar posting on the VisualBasic newgroups but I do not know how to translate the ReDim that occurs there into C#. Or wither this will actually give me what I'm looking for. The code I'm posting seems to work although I don't know how to set the length of the name correctly in the...

I'm building a complex web-based reservations system. Gathering the user's data requires between 8 and 15 pages (depending on which options they are interested in). I use the "Session" object to store the various elements as the user moves through the pages. Rather than storing the preferences directly in the Session object (e.g. Session("LastName") = ...), I created a class <Serializable()> Public Class ReservationInfo

In ASP.NET 2.0 and the formview control how do you get the value of the identity field of a newly inserted record? In ASP.NET 1.1 after the new record was saved you just said intNewIdentityID = Dataset.tblMtTable.IndentityID Simple but can't seem to do it in the formview. Thanks

I've built a WebForm with a Table added dynamically in Page_Load when IsPostBack is false. The table includes a couple of TextBoxes, RadioButtonLists and CheckboxLists. On postback, those controls are not present nor their valves in Request.Form.AllKeys.

Hi ALL, I wonder if anyone has been using n-tier to bind to a GridView control by using the ObjectDataSource. This is our first OOP web application, and we have no tables. Right now we are simply working with objects in memory. So, it appears as though Microsoft requires that our datamapper classes reside inside a folder called "App_Code", and NO WHERE ELSE. So, has anyone successfully been able to place their datamappers in a...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
