listbox click binding

I have populated listbox with data from the datatable.

I binded SelectedValue to the another datatable - i.e. selection result
(with VS 20005 wizard).

Selection result datatable has one column with type Int32.

ListBox.Selecte dValue type is also Int32. ListBox selection mode is
Multiselect.

Is it possible to have selected values as datarows in the selection result
table ? I.e. user selects one item in listbox and listbox (i.e. its
bindingsource) inserts one row in the result table. Than user selects
another row, and listbox inserts another row in the selection result table.

This means that result table contains 2 rows with "ListBox.Select edValue1"
and "ListBox.Select edValue2".

I know that I can do:

foreach (object item in listBox1.Select edItems)

{

....

}

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am trying to loop through the listbox and read the selected items from the list, within a CLICK event on an aspx page. The following is what I have tried. It loops through the listbox, but none of the items' SELECTED property is TRUE while I have selected a few items. What am I missing? Dim strFunds As String

I am having a terrible time getting anything useful out of a listbox on my web form. I am populating it with the results from Postcode lookup software, and it is showing the results fine. What I want to do is to allow the user to click on the row that corresponds to the correct address, and have the code behind populate the form's Address1, Address2 etc. controls with the relevant data items. I put the code for this into the...

Hello I'm trying to run the code below, but I'm running into a problem It is populating a listbox, based on whether or not the user enters data into a text box. If they enter something, it returns only that record, if they leave it blank, it returns all records. This works fine. Now I have text boxes that are linked to what is displayed in the listbox. If the user enters nothing, it works fine, and if the user enters something it works fine,...

Hello, I have a form with a listbox that displays a list of records from a SQL table. When one of these is selected, another listbox is populated with data from a SQL table that is linked to the 1st table. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but when you first click on a value in listbox1, it shows a list of values in listbox2 that are linked with the PREVIOUS value in listbox1, (basically the ID of the listbox item - 1) then, if you click the...

Form2 has one purpose to open and list some names and ids. I want to handle the list box click event on form2 so I can get the selected value onto a field in form1. I changed this Dim MyForm2 As New PHfx.Form2 to With Events MyForm2 As New PHfx.Form2 and tried adding an event handler but intellisense will not show form2s objects, just the methods.

Hi all, I have a listbox that is complex bound by an arraylist. The problem is that when I delete an object from the arraylist, the listbox does not reflect those changes. I tried refreshing the listbox with no luck and, because it is already bound, I can't just delete the item directly from the listbox without an error (because it already has a datasource, you are not allowed to delete/add anything to the listbox directly). The...

Hi all, After unsuccessfully trying to make my own dual listbox control out of arraylists, I decided to look for a 3rd party control. I've looked for over a week now and can't find anything but ASP.Net stuff when I need a Windows Form control. I've seen dual listbox populators in countless Windows applications, and have seen them run very fast, so I figured this would be extremely popular. Here's how it should work:

I'm trying to fill a listBox control with string members from an array of objects. I think using data binding is supposed to be the easiest way to do this. I've never used data binding before and am having trouble getting it to do anything. The relevant code is below, followed by a better explanation of what I'm trying to do. // pseudocode start public delegate string StepMethod();

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
