Hello,
I have a function that returns a dynamically created gridview. This
works fine, however it does not seem to be able to maintain state when
adding sorting or paging to the gridview. Does anyone have any idea how
to get this to work? below is the code. Please bear in mind that the
function is actually located in a seperate class file from the page
that actually returns the grid.

My code dynamically adds template fields to a GridView control. Everything
seems to work OK, except when updating, because I haven't found a way to
reference the dynamically added textboxes. FindControl doesn't work, and the
textboxes cannot be accessed using
grid.Rows.Cells.Control. Can someone help?

Hi everybody,
I created a Gridview with a TemplateField and there is Label control in
ItemTemplate and a DropdownList control in EditItemTemplate, I was to
displayed them ok when I click the Edit Command button. But when I about to
get the value of this template field I get an empty string value. I check the

Hello Everyone,
I have a gridview. I am using template columns inside the gridview.
When I display the gridview on the web page and if there is no value in a
particular cell, gridline disappaers around that cell.I want the grid lines
to appear all the time even if the cell is empty. Can anyone tell me what am

I have a sub in vb.net that adds extra headers to a gridview and it works
very well.
however, i tried to translate it to c# and i'm getting the header inserting
itself over the first datarows and inserting blank rows at the bottom.
i can post the code if necessary for the C# but it basicly mirrors the vb.net
