Debugging Crystal Kills VS.Net 2003

I've got an app that contains a couple of Crystal Reports. The reports are
working, but everytime I execute the code to show the reports in the
debugger it kills VS.Net 2003. As it's dying, there's a command window with
something about a MiniDump and there are a couple of entries in my event log
(see below). I'm working on XP Pro.

Here are the event log messages:
--------------------------------------------
Faulting application devenv.exe, version 7.10.3077.0, faulting module
unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x1bac5a6c.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

--------------------------------------------
Fault bucket 60951422.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

--------------------------------------------

The links in the event log messages provide no help.

Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

Thanks.
Scott

Hello, I am trying to build a Crystal report VisualStudio.NET for an ASP.NET application. I would like to build a report that doesn't connect to any particular database at design time because I am planning to pass a dataset to the report at runtime. From what I have read, it sounds like unbound fields might be the answer. However, I am having trouble figuring out how to bind these unbound fields to my dataset at runtime.

I'm having a problem with this product. When I was using "Visual Studio.NET 1.0" to develop a project, we had no issues, but now after migrating to "Visual Studio.NET 2003" it does not use the same properties and methods. The error we're having now is: The base class includes the field 'CR_Viewer', but its

Hi all, I encountered a crystal report deployment problem. I make reports with Crystal Report for Visual Studio .NET 2003. It works fine in the development machine. And then make setup package. Installed on a windows server 2003 system (without visual studio .net 2003), the report gives error about "Logon Failed". The data source is specified to OLE DB SQL Server, and the LogOnInfo is specified by

Hi! We currently use SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition and Visual Studio.NET 2003. Now, we are comparing the Crystal Reports for Visual Studio.NET 2003 with the SQL Server Reporting Services so that we will be able to choose a reporting tool that works best for us. My questions are as below. 1) Is there any online information available detailing the similarities or differences between the reporting services and the Crystal Reports...

Dear all, I have some questions about the Crystal Report and vb.net 2003. 1. I have installed the crystal report 10 and vs.net 2003. Should I update the crystal report within the vb.net so as to use crystal report 10? Which is better for using the program crystal report 10 or the crystal report within the vb.net to construct the report? 2. Is there any difference for deploying the window application for using crystal report 10 or the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
