WordML / .NET Solution

JD
Hello:

I am trying to put together a solution that would programmaticall y insert
XML data into a WordML document. I am trying to do this through a web page
when a user clicks on a link. For example, in a web page, a user clicks on
a link or button, the XML data from an external file is inserted into a
WordML document, and then is offered for download to the user. The reason
why I am using WordML is because we have 20-30 word documents that have been
converted. We are not bound to the WordML format, but it seemed to be the
logical format for the solution.

Does anyone have a good way to insert XML data from an external file into an
existing WordML document through .NET from a web page? Any tips or
suggestions are most appreciated.

Thanks,

JD

Hi, is there any solution available for transforming WordML XML files to PDF on server requests. Here is basically what I'm looking for: We have like 15 different types of contracts that have to be filled dynamically with data (names, addresse, etc.). These contracts are up to 30 pages long. Right now they are all in .doc format and we have to fill in the data by hand.

I don't like M$, but if using a M$ processing...

Hi all, in ref. to the MSDN-Article "New XML Features of the Microsoft Office Word 2003 Object Model" (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/odc_wd2003_ta/html/odc_Wdnew2k3XMLOM.asp) I've got a few questions: 1.) They say, the first step to work with XML in a word document is to add the XML-Schema to the Application-Object. As I want to work with the WordML (Word Object Model), I suppose I need to load this

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
