WSDL: customize wsdl:port\soap: address\@locati on

JT
Hi,

We have 2 servers having the same web site running on port 8080. These two
servers are load balanced and have DNS name, e.g. my.server.com. Now on both
of these two servers, we put the same web services, e.g.
MyWebService\WS .asmx, so the URL to the web service looks like:
http://my.server.com/MyWebService/WS.asmx

Now here's the problem. When I try to view the WSDL via
http://my.server.com/MyWebService/WS.asmx?WSDL, the
wsdl:service\ws dl:port\soap:ad dress\@location value contains the port number
8080 even though I'm using the DNS name of the servers:
http://my.server.com:8080/MyWebService/WS.asmx, which is wrong since
my.server.com is already pointing to port 8080.

Is there a way to customize this from the code through attributes, or modify
this through some configuration?

Help!

Thanks.

you can create the wsdl document in advance using the wsdl tool and then
remove the port numbers from it.

Hi, Is it possible to create a proxy client class or a web service method by VS.NET without using wsdl? My stupid client is using a xml schema (.xsd) to describe all their web service methods (and my webmethods) by Java (Apache toolkit) instead of using WSDL. What should I do? Thanks a lot! Raymond
