Where is Reference.cs in 2005 and how to add System.Xml.Seri alization.XmlRo otAttribute?

Hello -
I have a complex object which I am exposing over a webservice on our
intranet. In Visual studio 2003 I had to add
"[System.Xml.Seri alization.XmlRo otAttribute(Nam espace="http://www.weburl.org/05",
IsNullable=fals e)]" just above my complex object in Reference.CS under
Reference.map area. After I did this on the client side, I was able to
load the full object including children also.

Now I am consuming the same webservice in VS 2005 developed asp.net
application. And it looks like VS 2005 still did not fix the issue of
creating correct wsdl for complex objects. I am not able to load child
objects when I deserialize the XML returned from my method calls. I
can not even able to add the XmlRootAttribut e attribute in 2005 as I am
not able to find the Reference.CS file itself. Please help.

Thanks,
Vinny

I used WSDL.exe to generate a client side web proxy for a web service, called the web service, got the results but an array returned by the web service is not in the results. However if I use "Add Web Reference" for the same service the same function works appropriately. Here is the client proxy generated from WSDL.exe <System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapDocumentMethodAttribute("capeconnect:AppSec:AppSecPortType#getApplicationUsers",

In the book: "Working with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005" Craig Skibo wrote: "The power of Visual Studio 2005 lies in its ability to empower users to build, test, and debug powerful applications quickly and easly." I don't agree on what concernes ASP .NET Web Sites in VS2005. All what involves Namespaces in Web sites has been disappeared. I know you can still MANUALLY manage them, but not QUICKLY and EASLY. Hi, I have the wsdl below, for an Axis web service, and when I select Add Web Refernce in Visual Studio the proxy is missing a class representing the returnedElementsType (see reference.cs below the wsdl). This complex type is a collection of another complex type(elementType), and the Reference.cs has an array of these rather than the single returnedElementsType. If If I want to be able to obtain these elements from the SOAP response I...

I've got two projects, both reference system, system.data and system.xml and both include the using System.Xml.Serialization and using System at the top of the file. Both also include the XmlElementAttribute attribute on some properties as defined below, but on one project I get the error "'System' denotes a 'namespace' where a 'class' was expected" and the other project I don't. There highlights the word System on...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
