IS there a way to embed an Office App (in this case - PowerPoint
Presentation) within a Form. I want to be able to display a PowerPoint file
on the the form in a defined space.

This error is driving me nuts. The code below will run perfectly when
it has a breakpoint. But as soon as I remove the breakpoint and run it
normally outside of debug mode I get a strange error message that says:
"Microsoft Office PowerPoint has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information you were
working on might be lost."

I am going to use PowerPoint 10.0 Object library because I have to
extract slides from PowerPoint file. Does anybody know do I have to
install Office on server, where the IIS is installed, in order to use
PowerPoint 10.0 Object library. Can I use PowerPoint 10.0 Object
library without to install whole office on server and if it is
possible how can I install just PowerPoint 10.0 Object library,
without whole office?

Hello, I have the following problem and I do not know how to accomplish this.
I have an (existing) powerpoint presentation that should be displayed not
within its own window, but within a control of my own form.
So I added a reference to the Microsoft PowerPoint Object Library and tried
to run a slideshow of the presentation. For this I am using those classes
like PowerPoint.Application, PowerPoint.Presentation, PowerPoint.Slides, ......

I have a series of XLS files which I need to embed into a PowerPoint
presentation on an IIS server. I’ll be using VB.NET. I’ve tried using an
ASPOSE.PowerPoint control to do this and it does partially work. The problem

Hi all,
I'am trying to create object of Excel and powerpoint through my VB.Net
2005 application. When user close the excel or powerpoint it's instance
remains in the task manager.
I used ReleaseComObject because of which excel instance now goes trough
task manager , but same dosen't work with the Powerpoint object.
Any solution?

I'm in the middle of writing an application to display a scrolling marquee and a PowerPoint presentaion on multiple monitors. Powerpoint is unable to display more than one presentaion on one PC so I'm resorting to doing it myself.
I can convert the PowerPoint file to HTML and show the presentation in a form this way, however the conversion process makes a mess of some of the more complex slides.
So, is it possible to show a powerpoint...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
