Dear All
I want to use the horizontal scrollbar control, but I can't figure out
how to change the width of the slider, i.e. the bit that you drag left
& right. With other controls (eg Textbox), the inbuilt scrollbar
changes its slider width depending on how much text is in the box.
But the slider width of the horizontal scrollbar control always seems
to be the same size.
Can anyone tell me how to do this?

I am using the WebBrowser control (Explorer.Shell.2) from within a VBA
application, embedded on an MS Access form to display the contents of a
local folder. By default on Windows 2000/XP the control displays the
"Common Tasks" section on the left-hand side of the display - I assume it
just shows/hides this based upon the Windows user's settings. Is there any
way to change this to "Classic View", ie to remove the left-side "Common
Tasks"...

Hi
Could anyone tell me if it is posible to change the width of the
vertical scrollbar on a panel control who's autoscroll property is set
to true. I'm producing a touch screen application and the standard size
of a scrollbar is too small. Does anyone have any better solutions?
Thanks in advance

Hi!
I want to change the position of a generic control. I want to append it
to a different parent.
I try some methods but I have some problem with complex controls (like
dropdown, checkboxlist)
I wrote a simple code for testing.
If you try to check something and write in textbox, after two click you
lose only checkboxes!

I have setup a Panel to have a width of 100% so that it will adjust to users
screensize. Within the panel I have a table. Unfortunately the table holds
a lot of data and exceeds the size of the screen. The panel has a height of
350px and the scrollbar is set to auto so that both scrollbars appear when
needed. What is happening is that due to the table exceeding the width of
the screen the panel is also enlarging its width larger than...

Greetings,
In a nutshell: I've got a panel sitting on a form that is docked to full sitting next to a vertical scrollbar that is docked left. There is a picture control sitting in the panel that may be larger than the viewable area of the panel. I'm trying to set the scrollbar up dynamically when the user resizes the form but it doesn't seem to take. For example: the user can see half of the image so the scrollbar maximum gets set to 2. ...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
