Hi everyone,
I'm trying to build a program to interface to a SOAP/XML interface
provided by one of our vendors. This interface is built with MS SOAP
Toolkit 3.0, so I'm guessig they are running a .NET server. I'm trying
to build my program with Python as I've got to deploy on both Linux
and Sun/Solaris platforms. I'm developing on RedHat Linux 8.0 using
Python 2.2.1 and SOAPpy 0.10.2.
My experimental program almost works, but it isn't...

I have not had any luck searching for a simple, simple example that
calls a method on an object given a SOAP string. Here's what I'm
looking for (in pseudocode):
string SOAPCall = "bla bla bla"; // SOAP method invocation XML
string SOAPResponse;
MyObject x = new MyObject();
// and here's where I don't know what to do
/* call the method on x as specified in SOAPCall and

Wehen locally access it, the browser can show me the test form for the
Webmethod.
But when I access it from remote machine, I get: The test form is only
available for requests from the local machine

All,
I have a WebService created in .NET.
I have VB6 Client consume the WebService (using Soap ToolKit 3.0)
But I have couple user who got error accessing the WebServer with
error message "Unable to handle request without a valid parameter ..."
After hours of research, my conclusion is that the firewall treat
"SOAPAction" as unknow header and blocked it.

webservices each webservice with their own webmethods of course.
I want to measure the performance of my site. I look at the Application
Center Test of Visual Studio Enterprice edition, but can not make it to work
with the web services. I can't figure out how to call the web services from
an ACT test. It seems it only can work with aspx pages not web services asmx...

I am having a problem generating some soap proxies dynamically using
almost the exact same code as in the MSDN sample.

It has very few differences, mainly I had to manipulate the document to
remove the Any tags that caused 400+ validation warnings but even after
getting the WebReference object ValidationWarnings to 0, it says...

I'm trying to get the Perl SOAP::Lite examples to work on a Windows PC, running Apache 2.2.4.
Apache is definitely serving CGI scripts, as I've tested a dummy Hello World thing. I'm also definitely getting a hit when I use a browser to get to my hibye.cgi server (well, a blank page rather than a 404).
However, when I run my hibye.pl client, I receive a 503 Service Unavailable at H:\scripts\hibye.pl line 25.

Hi!
We are using ASMX web service with WSE (we're using WS-Addressing) and
IIS returns HTTP status code 200 even if XML is malformed (it can
contain illegal characters in it).
The request does not get through the stack to the application, but if
I debug the application, I can see that exception is thrown somewhere
"down there".

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
