I would like to create an htm file (using Word) that will have some free
form text. However, in the free form text I would like to be able to embed
some fields like Name, Address, etc. I have tried to embed the fields
surrounded by different characters such as __Name__, @@Name@@, $$Name$$. the
problem that i am encountering is that when the htm page is displayed in IE
or in Word the text looks correct.. However, when inspecting the html/xml
code in notepad, the text looks like __<span class=SpellE>Na me</span>__
therefore i cannot use a method like string.replace to replace the value of
__Name__.
I do need to leave the basic html code intact. i don't mind losing the <span
class...> and </span>tags.
is there a class that i can use that is able to perform this replace, i.e.
ignore the embedded xml (html) tags and allows me to work just with the
text?
thanks

Hi MR,
I don't know if this is the right forum for this particular question, but to
answer your question, Try a Regular expression Replace. (Regex Class in
..NET)

Hey,
I'm having quite a bit of trouble trying to filter through a list
using a text box and multiple combo boxes. When you write anything in
the text box the list goes blank. Although when you select something
from one of the combo boxes nothing happens at all.
Help will be greatly appreciated.

Is this ok? I haven't seen any examples of it, but it looks like it should
work:
<asp:requiredfieldvalidator id="valreqUserName" runat="server"
controltovalidate="txtUserName"
errormessage="Please enter the user name">
<span title="Please enter the user name">
<img src="../../images/bullet.gif">

Heres what I want to do...User types into a texbox, clicks a button, the
button saves that text to a file. The problem is that when I click the
submit button, any changes made to the textbox are lost, and it reloads what
was previously there.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I was wondering if there are any tools frrely available to see exactly what
is wrong with a SOAP message and what makes it incompatible with .Net.
I am running a Webservice on an Axis server, the particular method in
question has complex types both as input and as output. The proxy was
generated using the WSDL.exe command line tool. There were no errors when
creating the cs file. All the calls return blank values though. I have...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
