Finding Dates

I am new to using dates with .net and am in a bit of a pickle ;-) I need
to get a date, then be able to find what date that week starts and ends
on, as well as financial year dates. Is there anything in the .NET
framework that makes this easier? Or do I have to create my own system?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks :-)

They do it like that in Europe? Nice. I actually prefer it that way :-)

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has written some Python code which uses a start date and end date and a given interval (day, month or year) and outputs all the time periods for that range and interval. For example you may wish to find all the months between the dates '2004-02-14' and '2004-08-04'. You would maybe use a function where you pass in those starting and ending dates and the interval 'month' and you'd get back a list...

Hi There I have a function that does some calculations depending on the 2 date arguments passed into it: Function GetPeriods(dteStart As Date, dteEnd As Date) As Integer The function has 2 more arguments but they are not causing the problems I'm encountering. The 2 date arguments are used to build a dynamic SQL statement for a

Whenever I want help on a query, I get told my design is wrong, So this time I'm posting a message during the design phase: How am I going to perfectly design the following? We want to be able to track time for users for multiple modules, for now a Schedule module and a Punchlist module. These modules already exist and there are dozens of other modules which we will add to the list as well, two or three at a time - so it should be...

Hi All, I'm building some reports in Acc97 and using a custom calendar form to allow users to pick dates with which to report. I'm wondering if there's an easy way in code to be able to automatically work out the end-of-week date and end-of-month date from an arbitrary date value? To explain a little further. Let's say a user wants to view a weekly

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
